This piece was created to celebrate new beginnings
It was inspired by a wagtail who would always appear when I was painting outside in France. It was perched above me one day observing me, I went inside to get a drink and when I came back outside I was shocked to see it hovering a few inches above my painting, that went on to be the first big painting I sold! They have always been one of my favourite birds due to their cheery playful nature and I now see them as a symbol of good luck with my creative pursuits !
